Agricultural sector
The climate favorably influenced by the Black sea proximity transforms Moldova into an ideal zone for agriculture and food industry, which in fact contributes 40% to GDP. On the fertile fields of the country people cultivate wheat, corn, rice, tobacco, sugar beet, sunflower, nuts, apples and fruit in general.
The most important and well-known role in the agriculture of Republic of Moldova belongs to wine production, concentrated mainly in the central and southern part of the country.
In these places, where unusual wine-vaults were created, the most famous ones are Cricova, Milestii Mici (with immense rooms „subterranean wine towns") and Purcari, which give birth to the most delicious wine (Cabernet, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gris, Merlot, Riesling and Traminer), champagne and liqueurs. Investments to this sector are a good choice, a great possibility for a successful label.
